District Attorney Tasha M. Mosley and her entire staff understand that victims of a felony crime can be overwhelmed by not only the crime, but also the criminal justice system. The Victim Witness Assistance Program (VWAP) is designed to help victims understand the criminal justice process. The Victim Assistance Unit of the Clayton County District Attorney's office operates under VWAP. We are dedicated to providing free services throughout the criminal justice process. Our services include but are not limited to advocating for victims according to the Crime Victims' Bill of Rights , educating victims about the criminal justice process, notifying victims of scheduled court hearings and supporting victims emotionally during this process.
